Kinda late for my first post of the new year, but it's not like I had anything major happen since the last post. There isn't anything else that has gone wrong (except for my sis being in the emergency room New Year's Eve), so I'm thinking that my Sh*t Quotient is going down. :P I'm just back to my boring old schedule and life, and I guilitily admit...that I like it. The Simple Life is suiting me just fine right now- I'm saving myself for all the fun and excitement I'll be having when Mr. Bennett returns and sweeps me off my feet! :D /sigh
I just got back from seeing [i]Memoirs of a Geisha[/i], and I have to say that it was quite a piece of cinema. See, I'm not so much into historical dramas that you know will most likely end tragically, but something about this caught my eye. Maybe b/c I have always wanted to read the book, but anyway, it was a great film all-around. It was a beautiful work of cinema and I suggest everyone watch it (even just rent it). Surprisingly, for what I considered to be not that great a year for movies, a few came out that I really liked (and were the little bit of saving this last year from being a terrible year for movies). Besides [i]Geisha[/i], I LOVED [i]Wedding Crashers [/i](now on DVD!), [i]Harry Potter [/i]was awesome, [i]Charlie and the Chocolate Factory [/i]was visually amazing, and [i]King Kong [/i]inspired and left me in awe. Oh, and [i]Assault on Precinct 13 [/i]makes for a great drinking game. :D
And I'm outta material! Oh, wait, one more thing: I [i]loves[/i] me some [u]Bennett[/u]! :wink: (He is TOO good to me- I'm not used to being treated so [b]fabulously[/b] and I love it! :))
