Yay, it's my favorite month of the year! I love October, not just because my birthday is in this month (the 30th), but also b/c you can feel the weather start to change (even here in FL where we barely get any change of season) and it just has a wonderful feeling about it. It's also when all the stores come out w/ pumpkin scented and flavored stuff and I [i]loooove[/i] anything pumpkin- maybe b/c it reminds me of Halloween and that's the day after my birthday. I also like it when people dress up their babies as pumpkins, call me weird, but I think it's fabulous. :D Anyway, today was my 'Relax and Enjoy October Day'. And I hope you all enjoy it too. :)
In other news I have a new obsession: making boondoggle keychains. You know, those things made from plastic lanyard that are weaved into skinny keychains or whatever. We have the stuff at work and I've been doing it non-stop. It kind of relaxes me and helps me to focus- very therapeutic. I also take orders. :)
I'm planning my birthday party festivities: I might be getting a hotel room on International Drive in Orlando (so we can drink and walk around everywhere). I'm doing the family party at Hard Rock Casino. I'm excited. I never ask for stuff but please feel free to send me gift certificates to ABC Liquor or some bottles (or boxes) of fine wine, it'd be much appreciated. :wink:
Can I also say that I'm so emotionally satisfied, more so than ever before? I'm just over the moon and I hope this feeling gets even better and lasts for a long time. I wish everyone could experience this at least once in their life. I'm starting to feel like such a grownup, gasp! :o
