| Stranded in Orlando, Ginger Babies, and a Mexican Dinner |
| 12.29.05 (11:18 am) [edit] |
So remember that little day trip to Disney I was talking about? Heidi get up bright & early and head off for EPCOT, for a day of learning, culture, hot foreign guys, and good old fashioned crowded holiday Disney fun. ...And then my car gives me some MORE sh*t. You would think that it would have been enough, what with it having been in car shops about 4 times in the past month: recall on the power steering, transmission overhaul & other crap, broken axle, etc. But, no. As soon as we get there, there's this huge bubble in my front left tire (amazing that it didn't blow out on the way up). So we have to leave the park early to find a bank somewhere in Kissimmee to get out the money my mom transferred to me (my new bank card still hasn't been sent) so I can then go get the tire replaced. And as soon as we get back out to the car- where the bubble was is now a split and the car is completely dead. But Disney security comes to my rescue, jumps it and puts on the spare. Do we make it to a bank in time though? no. So we finally find a Walmart w/ a tire place, and as soon as we get there: the engine is majorly overheating and shaking. So there's no way we're leaving town that night. The tire is fixed and now, Heidi and I have to find a place to stay (it's the holiday break and in Orlando which means we're like Joseph and Mary trying to find a place to stay in Bethlehem) and a place not too far to get the car to to be fixed the next morning. Thank goodness we found a Friendly's restaurant. So, after finding a hotel (thanks to mom calling around) we went back to Walmart and bought some cheap pink champagne and some peach juice. Back at the hotel we had Faux-linis (ghetto Bellinis) and (by some weird coincidence) Harry Potter 3 was on HBO...so we got tipsy and had a Daniel Radcliffe party. :D The next morning, we get to the Florida Mall and take the ol' Cruiser to the Firestone and get to wait in the mall (thank goodness) until 4:30 when the car is done. So, about $580 later, the car should be okay now. Let's cross our fingers. But, it was a very fun adventure, to say the least.
Whilst at EPCOT, I saw the CUTEST little redheaded kids and they just reminded me of how much I want redhead babies. I like to call them "Ginger Babies", 'ginger' being the term used by Brits to describe redheads (remember that hot English soccer player I had the bragging rights to say I was having a lusty affair with? Yeah, he called me that. lol ). So, yeah, I want a whole litter of cute Ginger Babies (in the distant future). That's why I need someone w/ the red hair gene to procreate with. Gee, Bennett carries those genes, what a coincidence! Why else do you think I'm dating him? :D

 Ginger Babies!!! :D
As for the Mexican dinner, Heidi's parents invited me to share a (quote) "Mexican dinner" w/ them and some family friends last night. I just thought it was a funny term. So there's me and 8 Scientologists (I'm not using the term disparagingly) and I turned to Heidi when we got our food and said, "Shall I say grace for us, then?" We had a good laugh, especially b/c now I was the minority. I have no problems w/ Scientology or their people (lol, that's for you Heidi), except for Tom Cruise. :)

Since my last update I took a mini vacation to Savannah, Georgia, and it was faaabulous!:) I just fell in love with the charming, historic city and its way of life-SO Southern! I went on this awesome haunted pub tour (the city is super haunted), took pictures of the awesome houses, looked for ghosts, and I even got to go to my idol Paula Deen's (my fave host from the Food network) famous restaurant. It was awesome. I want to live there some day. :)

Heidi's back in town! We've been living it up and whatnot- going to the cinema (we saw 'Hottie' Potter last night in super huge IMAX!!), brainstorming up new sketches and working on old ones, and just having an all-around fun & fab time (like we we always do). And...we're going to Disney tomorrow!!! :D EPCOT, to be exact. I wanted so desperately to go during the holiday season so my mom got me a ticket and Heid & I are going to celebrate the season! (I have to go w/ someone, seeing as my hot piece of yummy is overseas this Christmas.)

For Christmas, I got some awesome shtuff. Besides the ticket to Disney, I got a hot bling bling dkny watch, fabulous clothes (& dresses) from Bebe & BCBG, and some fab unique jewelry & flowers from Mr. Delicious. :D It was a good time. And, as I mentioned before, I got to end the magical day with a magical movie starring a magically delicious and underage wizard, with my magical partner in crime. 8)
That's about it for now, folks. Hopefully the time until April will go even quicker than it has been going, because it'll be that much sooner that I get to see my betrothed. Still smitten? I think so.

Your Animal Personality
|

Your Power Animal: Monkey with a gun
Animal You Were in a Past Life: Lemur
You have a strong character - Like Scarface, you are an aggressive, ambitious, go-getter. You may be charged for murder or arson in the future. You were born to lead...a mafia.

In other news, Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) is hot. Do I care if he's 16? Heck no! Like I said to Cookie on her myspace profile, "If loving Daniel Radcliffe is a crime, then lock me up and throw away the key!" Okay, so it is illegal, as of now, but who says we can't run away to Mexico or something? :D Just look at him, with his penetratingly blue eyes, raven hair, and oh-so-British pasty skin! ::sigh::  (Don't worry Bennett, I still love you the best!)
