Okay, okay, I know I haven't updated about my fabulous trip but I've been so darn tired and worn out from working all day every day (and distracted by people who wanna take me to see Star Wars, lol :wink:)! There's so much to write about and so many hott pix to post, lol. I'll do it soon, though, I promise. Yes, ladies and gents, it's that time again: TRIP TO NYC!!! I'm leaving at the ass crack of dawn Thursday and won't return until Sunday night. I'm sooo excited!!! Of course every night will be spent at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and my days will be spent celeb spotting (or finding people who resemble celebs, lol). Anyway, next week, look for my update on my fabulous trip. :D

This weekend was a BLAST! Kris was house-sitting for the house across the street from her and her parents were out of town for the weekend so we planned to PAR-TAY. So, Friday, I had laryngitis and we ended up working Teen Night at work til 11:45 and were then at Applebee's w/ co-workers til 1:30...so we went back to her place and passed out. Saturday, we saw a movie together and decided to invite the gang of partygoers over afterward, but, alas, we were too exhausted and somewhat sick feeling so we ended up having a Cary Elwes (yum!) movie fest...and passed out. And Sunday night consisted of me going over to her place again, getting fairly tipsy, and watching [i]Weekend at Bernie's [/i]by ourselves...and passing out. Some heavy partying, huh? :D And it's back to the ol' grindstone today!
Kristen and I were discussing traits in men that we liked so we roughly put together a "Marriage Material" list. Here goes: (I also just added a few)
[u]Marriage Material Requirements:[/u]
-Must be able to and like to cook
-Expert gunsman, knowledge of assault rifles a plus (doesn't mean they have to own a gun, though)
-Can hotwire a car
-Has never been in jail (now that doesn't mean never [i]arrested[/i], lol)
-Nice ass (that's mostly my req.)
-Does not require pets, esp. dogs (a plus if they like cats, but not [i]love[/i] cats- that's kinda scary)
-Can do a full split either way (both- a plus; this is also my req., lol)
-Can appreciate (or put up with) Pat Benatar, Journey, and pretty much all '80s music
- Must be taller than we are (5'6")
-Never ask us to participate in a three-way (esp. w/ each other)
-Must enjoy (but not necessarily be good at) karaoke (yes, that's how it's spelled)
-Must like stupid '80s movies
And that's all we have for now...

-I'm a good speller and can use big words
-I have good genes (and jeans, lol)
-I can dislocate both of my shoulders
-I know lots of useless trivia and would do quite well on [i]Jeopardy! [/i]or [i]Millionaire[/i]
-I like to do laundry
-I can make a mean pot of coffee
-I own every James Bond movie on dvd :D
-I like action and horror movies
-I like guy humor
-I can appreciate classic rock and good guitar riffs (& I LOVE Guns N' Roses!)
-I enjoy new and exciting experiences (and positions, *wink wink*:wink:) Lol.

Remember my horoscope I wrote about in my last post? I guess it kinda came true. Kris, Alli, and I got invited to go see a Rays/Yankees game in a suite! It was cool, even though we didn't even watch the game, lol. We were just so excited to be in the suite and preoccupied with all of the hot guys at the game (we [i]will[/i] be going to more baseball games from now on :wink:). It was fun, but no romance for that night. I don't need romance, yuck! :P Romance just feeds you lies and makes you believe crap that ain't true! Word. :D

It's May already! (The fourth, to be exact, I forgot to post this on Sunday.) Gosh, another year almost halfway over and, boy, do I feel like I've wasted it. :? Before you know it, it'll be the end of the year and I'll be in the same boat. This is pretty much the 'blah' year for me, the sucky middle year (of the decade). Just like the middle child, the middle year is overlooked and underappreciated, with nothing much going on. Lol, I apologize to my middle child friends, I'm just using it as an analogy. :) But you know what I mean? I just feel like I've gotta get out there and do [b]SOMETHING[/b] and [u]SOON[/u]. I'm not gonna waste my twenties doing [i][i]nothing[/i][/i] (like a lot of people I've seen...). I'm just gonna go out and grab life by the balls! Anyway, that was my introspective rant for the week, lol. :D
In other news...
So I have a thing with reading my daily horoscopes on my personalized Yahoo page. Now, don't get me wrong, I do not listen to them or live my life by them by any means. But sometimes they're kinda accurate and my life has been mirroring my horoscopes in the last month or two somewhat. Well, except for the thing about relationship decisions finalized by the end of last month. Anyway, I hope today's comes true: [i]" Your most exotic spaced-out-during-the-lun ch-digestion-phase-of-the -day dreams are going to be nothing -- nothing! -- compared to the very exciting reality coming your way today."[/i] Lol. I'll keep y'all posted. :wink:

Oh, I am so exhausted! I guess that's what staying out til 3 every night will do to me. I think I'm getting sick- it's going around.
So, Orlando plans fell through last night so we went to dinner at Channelside. I was all tawdry in my denim miniskirt and top I actually borrowed from my little sister, lol. I felt the need to slut it up b/c I'm always so conservative, yet tastefully, dressed. I think the AAA guy who came to fix our flat tire got his highlight for that night. :D
Other than that...nothing major. I have only one exam and that's on Tuesday, got invited to a baseball game and get to hang out in a pimped out suite Wednesday, invited to some Cinco de Mayo party. And I will be relaxing and taking it easy as to not get sicker.
Kris and I loves us some trucks!
