That last blog was so made up, you guys. So if you believed that I might have really cheated on my boyfriend, you must not know me. I am so faithful and in loooooove! :wink: I just had nothing to write about so Megan said I should just make something up. So I made up something real steamy, lol, NOT! :D I know the pain of being cheated on and I wouldn't wish that on anyone. So, for the record, I did not mess around with, let alone meet any other guys. :) I love my Bogie! <3>

| A Sordid Affair, Part 1 |

What an interesting weekend. Friday night, I went out with the girls to dinner and whatnot. Around 10:30 p.m., we went to Cafe Eleven, Megan and I wanted some of their yummy Foxtrot tea. While the five of us (Megan D., Megan O., Laura, Lynette, and I) were sitting there chatting and being the goofy girls we are, and the most delectable looking creature (read: guy) walked in. He had another male companion with him, but they were clearly not "together" (Yes! :wink: ). Of course, all of us had to turn and look and make gestures and googly faces to one another, acknowledging their too-good-to-be-true looks.
Both of them were simply stunning, their casual yet chic attire, the first one with his short jet black hair styled with a touch of gel, slightly spiky, and the other who had longer, sun-bleached hair, probably from being out surfing, because he was really tan, too. They ordered their drinks then sat down a few tables away from us, exactly in my line of vision.
From the moment they walked in, I couldn't pay attention to my the conversation anymore, I was so distracted by the Adonis Brothers that sat in front of me. I wasn't the only one checking them out, but I was the one completely drooling all over the table and the girls had to tease me for it. I couldn't help myself, it was like I was in a dream that was so good I didn't want to wake up.
They were chatting about work, school, and what not (how could I not overhear? :D). I figured they were probably a few years older than myself, maybe 22 or 23. Needless to say, most of the conversation between us girls had changed to talking about them, but not in their earshot, of course. The dark-haired one, let's call him "Hotstuff", had on a dark brown leather jacket, it was chilly outside, and the rest of his outfit looked straight out of a J. Crew catalog. Yum. :) The blonde one, I'll call him "Surfer Dude", had on a dark denim jacket and long khaki shorts, he looked like he could have been a poster boy for Hollister. They exuded intelligence and charm and looked, as I like to describe myself, cultured.
Anyway, as I watched them enjoying themselves and their drinks- being sure not to get caught staring by one of them- "Hotstuff" had gotten back up to use the restroom. His companion sat alone, fiddling with his straw and rearranging the sugar packets, all the while we made silent gestures behind his back. It was obvious that every female in there was also checking out the goods, the guys probably were too. So, "Hotstuff" comes back from the restroom, and as he walks back to his table, our eyes met; for a few brief seconds that seemed to last for hours. I just sat there in a coma-like state, my mouth halfway open. But the best, most unbelievable part: he smiled at me. Right at me! I even saw teeth! I was absolutely speechless. And of course, none of the girls witnessed it. So, as not to be overheard, I quickly wrote it down on a napkin. They were just as shocked as I was. I had to tell them to stop turning around and looking, though, I didn't want to cause a scene. We discussed whether or not I should make a move next, nothing major, just bite the bait and see if it's for real.
For the next fifteen minutes or so, we continued our chatting, gossiping, giggling etc. Now was the time, I had given it long enough, didn't want to seem too eager; I made my way to use the ladies room (traveling in a pair, as per usual for women, with Megan) and my path was directly in front of the guys' table. We casually walked by and pretended to be talking about something just to make ourselves seem fun and interesting (first impressions are everything) and to keep our cool. As soon as I was in the bathroom and the door was closed, I let out a silent scream and jumped up and down. Then Megan told me to settle down and go take a pee already. After I washed my hands, I had to primp in from of the mirror: check teeth, powder nose, light reapplication of lipgloss. I was so ready for this.
A few deep breaths and swung open the door and walked out in a confident stride. Here was my chance. As I walked past, I caught his gaze and he responded by keeping it. I then smiled a sweet but coy, I'm-fun-and-interested-bu t-not-an-easy-tramp smile and walked on by. I knew it had worked when he looked back at me after I sat back down, a quick glance which he meant for me to see. SCORE! Now it was all up to him.
There was little time left, the girls wanted to leave. I was hoping, praying that he'd do something. I made sure the fact that we were leaving was announced loudly enough for anyone sitting nearby to overhear. And it [i]so[/i] worked. Again, time seemed to crawl as he got up, turned around, and walked over to our table. And again, I was comatose. He looked at us with his deep blue eyes and said, "Hey, how are you guys?" I answered for all of us saying, "Great!" Then he introduced himself, Alec, and asked what we were doing after we left. We told him we weren't doing anything after. I was hoping at this point that he wasn't a rapist or something. I was also hoping I wouldn't faint.
He told us that he and his friend, Tom ("Surfer Dude"), were going bowling and asked if we wanted to go with. I speak for us all when I say we were flabbergasted. These freaking hot guys wanted us to go bowling with us! We said yes, because we figured there's safety in numbers. So we met them at the bowling alley. They even made those dorky neon bowling shoes look sexy.

| The Sims Redux |

The Sims is so cool again. I stole it from my sis when I was at home (Deluxe and Hot Date) and have been playing it like mad. I love designing and decorating the houses; I'm so innovative! :D
Also, with the Sims Creator, I made myself into a Sim!!! She looks just like me (because her face is a picture of me)! I also made Elijah Wood, Jake Gyllenhaal, Colin Firth, and Ted Allen (Food & Wine Expert on [i]Queer Eye for the Straight Guy[/i]) into Sims and they live near my Katie Sim, so they come over all the time to hang out and flirt and stuff. :wink: I'm a Sim Pimp. 8)

Today, the gals and I left at 9 a.m. to drive down here to St. Pete so I could get my hair done and because we want tp spend Valentines Day at home (read: there is [i]nothing[/i] to do up there on the weekends).
Sooo....Mom and I are going to [b]EPCOT Center [/b]tomorrow!!! :D It's my favorite Disney park and I love it there soo much! The hot guys in Norway aren't too bad either... :wink: No, j/k, I have my own hottie- he fights the war against terrorism! :) Not that I agree with everything that's going on over there...but that's another blog for another day. He's so brave. /sigh. :wink:
Anyway, it'll be a lovely weekend (except for the weather) and I hope all of you have a wonderful Valentines Day, even if you've no one to spend it with. It's such an over-hyped, commercialized holiday anyway. And we don't even get a day off school! (Well, maybe because President's Day is right after it, and Flagler doesn't get holidays off anyway :( )

Nothing much going on lately, same old stuff. I'm going home this weekend and going to EPCOT. Hey, if I can't spend Valentines Day with my boyfriend, why not spend it with Mom? :wink:

So I'm stuck here again this weekend. There's not much to do. We have a guest in town for the weekend so that's made it more fun. I mean, we have fun and do stuff, but it's a simple kind of fun. Like last night, we bought cigars at Stogies and smoked them at Starbucks. We're friends with some of the people who work there so we chatted with the too. Then we went to Wal-Mart, a last resort place for the weekends. Tonight we'll probably go out to dinner and try to find something else to do. So, yeah, that's it.

Today is "Kids in the Hall" Appreciation Day (you know, those sketch comedy dudes from Canada you see on Comedy Central in the afternoon and late at night). They are the bestest ever and I love them so much. I saw them live on their reunion tour at Hard Rock Live in Orlando.
I'll never forget that magical evening of April 20th, 2000. My life was forever changed. I remember after the show, my best friend, Heidi, turned to me, held my hand and asked, "Katie, do you wanna be famous with me?" And do you know what I said? "Hell yeah!" (or something along the lines of that) Anyway, now, here we are almost four years later and we've been doing sketch comedy, writing it, and we even have written our own movie: [i]Suck It, Canada! [/i] (but that's the working title). We hope to one day moveto London and put together an awesome sketch troupe and have the most kickass t.v. show ever! And then branch off into movies. We are riding the rocket to success! :D

Today, I dedicate my blog to the paranormal, particularly ghosts. I have had many a strange experience with things I could not explain scientifically. One of my hobbies is ghost hunting, that's why I go to school in the second most haunted city in the U.S. Check out these links of the best ghost sites (I think) on the web.
