PAR-TAY ALL NIGHT LONG!!! Me and Heidi and the [i]Adult Swim[/i] crew! I am so excited. Heidi and I got decked out and bought cool party hat things and went to Quaker Steak & Lube. Everyone looked at us like when Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie came into the small Arkansas town and turned it upside down. We are so hip. Later, we took pics w/ my new chihuahua who is, oddly enough, named "Tinkerbell". Small world, huh?

So...Heidi and I are totally gonna rock the casbah this New Year's Eve. We're gonna get all dolled up, get party hats and stuff, go to Wing House or somewhere like that, and then go to my house and ring in the new year with the Adult Swim crew. Yeah, there's gonna be this mad party on Cartoon Network tomorrow night w/ new episodes of Brak, Sea Lab, Aqua Teens, Space Ghost, etc. I'm psyched. :D
More movie reviews:
-[i]Peter Pan[/i]: It was good on the whole but there was too much sexual tension between Peter and Wendy. I mean, Peter was really hot, but that's nasty. They're 12. Go see it, it's pretty good and Hook is a hottie too. :wink: Rating: 6.5
-[i]The Haunted Mansion[/i]: I went into it not comparing it to Pirates, but it wasn't that great anyway. I think they tried too hard to recreate scenes from the ride and didn't spend enough time on plot. The zombies were scary though, and everyone knows that the living dead is my #1 greatest fear. The chick who plyed the wife was too young and inexperienced too, she couldn't pull off the romantic scenes. The owner of the house ghost guy, Master Gracey, was a Class A British hottie. I liked him. :) Rating: 5

Friday night, Heidi and I saw [i]Paycheck[/i]. It was surprisingly good. I liked the chase scenes w/ the motorcycle and Uma Thurman always kicks ass. She can carry a movie by herself or just be a great supporting actress. Ethan Hawke: What the heck were you thinking?! Giving up such a fine lady....at least think of the kids man. (Note: Men are bastards, I will write more on this subject later.) Anyway, it's a 'B' version of [i]Minority Report[/i]. I give it a 7.5 out of 10.
Today, I saw [i]Freaky Friday [/i]on dvd. I love Lindsey Lohan, she is so real. She is also so much better than that skank Hilary Duff. Hilary: Why don't you have the other 'l' in your name? Do you think you are cool or something?! And your last name is the brand name of a freaking beer on a cartoon! You deserve that white trash punk, Aaron Carter. I also like Jamie Lee Curtis, even if she is a hermaphrodite. She is married to Christopher Guest, writer/director/actor of fine films such as [i]Spinal Tap[/i] and [i]Waiting for Guffman[/i]. But yeah, [i]Freaky Friday [/i]was alright; I give it a 6.5.
Tonight, I shall see [i]Cheaper by the Dozen [/i]starring Mr. Steve Martin. I hope it doesn't suck like his more recent projects. Man, him and Eddie Murphy are losing their touch...b/c everything they do touch, turns to poop. And that's my two cents. :D

I love shopping [i]after[/i] Christmas. Well, in stores that still have decent stuff that's not picked over. I have gotten some choice items on sale these past two days. I'm happy. :)
Guess what?! I got to talk to Logan on Instant Messenger finally yesterday!!! So today and yesterday we got to chat in real time for the first time since early November. Hey, you don't know what you've got til it's gone. You really appreciate someone when they're not around and all the little things. And he's taking me not only on vacation to Europe when he gets back, but a big shopping spree, and, coolest of all, he's letting me help pick out his new vehicle!!! (This is a big step.) I told him to get an SUV, he wants a sports car, so he may get a hybrid of some sort. Anyway, I love him to pieces (not that any of you care)! :D
I'm going to look at Christmas lights tonight while they're still up. It should be fun. And I can't think of anything else. Ta ta! :wink:

So yeah, today was CHRISTMAS! If you don't watch the news or whatever... :) Santa was very good to this little lady, I received a fifty-dollar gift certificate to Aveda (to buy my hair products and etc.), some more Visa gift cards (now totaling to $100), one of those sexy push-up bras from Victoria's Secret (not that I need it, lol), some underwear from VS also, nice perfume from VS, um...Hello Kitty panties and p.j. bottoms, a case for my laptop, twenty-five more bucks on a Starbucks card (now totaling to $50), and that's just some of the stuff...so I made out pretty good. Heidi and I are going to Tampa tomorrow to one of the malls to maybe do some shopping (I hate shopping on this day), see a movie, and go to P.F. Chang's China Bistro (Chinese food w/o the Chinese!), it's soooo good.
I hope my baby Logan is having a good Christmas over in Iraq. I miss him sooo much! He said, and I quote:"Hopefully this will be the only Christmas we can't spend together forever!" Isn't that sweet? That's my soldier boy! :D He's holding up alright over there; bored out of his skull but pretty much out of the way of danger. I can't wait until we go to London when he comes back this summer!!! We're going to live there in a few years and get our Masters there. I wanna have cute little Brit babies with those cute little accents! :)
Anyway, I've been watching this show about The Dead Sea Scrolls, the books left out of the Bible. It's so interesting. I've also read about the book, [u]The DaVinci Code[/u], and I really want to read it. It just makes you think, are some of our Christian beliefs a sham or not the whole story? I am going to be investigating this and I will write more on this subject tomorrow.

Oh, I am ever so excited! Santa is coming TONIGHT!!! I am the luckiest girl in the world!
Anyway, Heidi came over today and we watched some comedy stuff and went to Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart is so crowded at the holidays, so many people in the layaway line! :shock:
Right now I am watching the Upright Citizens Brigade dvd and it is SOOOOO HLARIOUS!!! I can't believe Heidi saw them live in New York TWICE! She is a lucky girl, she is. UCB are my heroes, boldly going where no sketch comedians have ever dared to go...until now (meaning Heidi and myself b/c we are comic geniouses). It is very rare that chicks are actually funny, we are a dime a dozen: me, Heidi, Amy Poehler...you get the idea.
Anyway, as my British pals say: "Happy Christmas!" God bless us, everyone!

All I did today was stuff around and put finishing touches on the tree. Oh, I wrapped presents too. I started to watch [i]Rose Red[/i] on dvd. It's kinda scary in a made-for-television-and-h eavily-edited kinda way. That's the only thing that makes Stephen King movies suck, they could be so much scarier and more true to the books.
I have also realized that almost anyone who has taken my quiz and knows me could get the result that they have dated me. This does prove a point, that I have dated far too many, but I have to reconfigure the whole quiz now. Thanks, guys, y'all think you're sooo funny. :roll: Okay, that's it.

Today, we are making Christmas cookies. This fills me with joy!!! We finally put up our tree and I put on the lights. Mom said it looks kinda crappy, so I told her she could take them all off and re-do them. She didn't. Who gets the last laugh now?! :lol: Me. Now we have to decorate the tree and the ornaments are in the garage and we can't get to them, lol. Crazy times these are.

I got my hair done again. It is so fly now, all red and some awesome highlights and a cool cut. It says: Look how I sparkle and exude charisma and confidence. :wink: Y'all gotta see it. And it only took five and a half hours in the salon! :D
I did more shopping today, too. For other people, not me. I hate the mall but i especially hate it during the holiday season. I HATE LARGE MASSES OF DUMB PEOPLE!!! But I love EPCOT. That is why I'm going there after Christmas. :) Don't worry people, contrary to popular belief, it is [i]not[/i] boring. Hey, I go there with my pimp hair and everything. :D
Also, I keep seeing these commercials for this Final Fantasy X-2 game (I don't play it), but what the heck is it? Are they pop stars or ninjas? And what is the point of the game? To win Japanese Idol or kick bad guy butt? Tres confusing. :?

....and we don't even have a tree up, lol. This is a new record for us. I can't believe it's only a week away! I'm good on presents b/c I only have 2 or 3 more to get this weekend. My hair appointment is Saturday and I'm so excited, and also not letting people see me til after then, lol. Yikes, I sound so shallow...like my sister. /shudders
So I've been hanging out w/ Tiff and Heidi and playing Vice City at home, quite entertaining. I love the violence and blood. :D Tiff has DDR for Playstation and I want it for xbox, if they make it, seeing how I'm babysitting Logan's xbox til May or June. It's in good hands, baby. :wink: I love you, wherever the heck you are, baby, and I hope you're thinking about me too...even though I'm not Britney Spears. grrr.... :evil:

Yay, Heidi is home! We so hung out today and saw The Haunted Mansion and went to Wal-Mart. It was hella tyte. So were gonna have some fun adventures during the next few weeks. We might go to '80s night in Ybor tomorrow night.
On the other hand, Logan is being a buttface (yeah, I hope you read this). I am feeling unwanted and unloved, not to mention replaced by my arch-nemesis ho bag Britney Spears. Well, we'll just see who has a loving girlfriend when they get back from Iraq. :x I love Hugh Grant and Colin Firth better anyway. :P

Well, I have learned some interesting information tonight (all information true and substantiated, not hearsay or gossip) about someone who used to be quite close to me. I was shocked, yet I somewhat expected it of this person. Needless to say, even though we are no longer close, I am quite disappointed in this person and their lack of character. People change, c'est la vie, I guess. And you think you know someone...:roll:
Anyway, things are picking up here at home, I've been doing more stuff and Heidi is coming home! I hope to get together with some of my good friends. And, on that note, I'm bad at keeping in touch, so if anyone wants to get together, gimme a holler. :) Have fun, y'all!

| U.S. Victory, Still Pissed, and Wedding Plans |

Pretty much everyone in the whole freakin' world knows what happened today, and if you don't, go read a newspaper or something. It's wonderful and I'm really glad that rat bastard was caught, but all I could think when I was watching CNN this morning, is that it isn't over. This isn't gonna make Logan come home any sooner, and it makes me sad. I'm afraid that there are going to be more attacks on soldiers and whatnot over in Iraq by remaining terrorists, whether they're still on Sadaam's side or Bin Laden's or they just hate American soldiers. And what really upsets me is that Logan is telling me they sent him over there and he really isn't doing anything, FOR 6 OR MORE FREAKIN' MONTHS!!! Why the heck did he even have to join in the first place? The army has jerked him around and not done what they've promised. The whole situation just pisses me off.
In other news, wedding plans have begun! Oh, not mine, of course, lol. Tiffany and Jeff are actually going to get married (so far :) ). And guess who gets to be the Maid of Honor? Moi! :D Oh yeah, that's right. /makes booty spanking motion. The wedding will be in Georgia probably this summer when Jeff gets out of tech school b/c he just went into the Air Force.
We went to David's Bridal and looked at wedding gowns, bridesmaid's dresses will have to wait b/c the styles we are looking for are not in season yet. You know what all of this wedding planning (and there is a lot to do) has made me realize? I don't want that. lol. I don't want to have all that crap to worry about for my wedding (some day) and I don't want to spend all that money on just one day. It's fine for other people, but I'd like to do things differently. Las Vegas, baby! :wink: We'll see. Ta ta for now!

So today was :"Catch up on quality television programming Day". So I watched all these shows I don't get at school (we have no cable. sad, i know.) and I got to see "The Simple Life" w/ Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie, and "Rich Girls" on MTV (I can't believe I'm admitting to watching that channel, *gasp*!). It is amazing what they put on TV these days and that people watch it; hey, i did, lol. :) I learned this: rich people are funny on reality TV shows b/c it shows how dumb they are. Well, at least their prissy little spoiled kids are. It is proven that the lower a person's class is in society, the lower their IQ. I think this also happens the higher their class is. My proof? #1: Royalty are inbred, they intermarry w/ their cousins and whatnot. #2: Richies, the ones who inherited their wealth, don't really have to go to school to get an education because they have all that money, so they don't. Just like farm kids who don't have enough money so they have to get jobs and work on the farm instead of going to school. #3: What person in their right mind would shell out tons of cash for all that haute couture, over-priced designer crap?! THERE ARE STARVING PEOPLE ALL OVER THE WORLD YOU SELF-ABSORBED JERKOFFS!!! All that money couldn't possibly go to charities! The idea is just preposterous! :x
Okay, done with that subject. Don't get me wrong, I'd like to have money some day, but I want to earn it and I only want enough to be comfortable and so I can have enough to give my kids a good life.

| Flu Shot Conspiracy and Going Home Time |

Yes, finals are over and it is already that time- Winter Break. Guess how long I get off for? 5 weeks. I haven't decided if that's good or bad yet, though.
I'm also sick, despite the fact that I got my flu shot two days ago. I think it's a conspiracy. They give it to you so you won't get sick but you do, and they (The Man) want you to get sick so you can't think right when you're trying to fight them (the System). Good theory, eh? And I wasn't even on the toilet when I came up with that one. :wink:
Also, I would like to add that T.J. is not totally cracked out, b/c he got me that tea set from Starbucks for Christmas. He says he'll come visit in January. *coughyeahrightcough* He has a good heart though, like that of a small child. Maybe even one who is mildly retarded or autistic. But we love him anyway, he is our Teej. :D
Logan is not slutting it up in Iraq!!! o/ You ask how I know? George freaking W. Bush told me, that's how. We had a lovely tea luncheon the other day with that Rumsfeld guy and Monkey (my stuffed animal baby monkey who is so sweet and cute :P ). It was delightful, especially when Georgie told the joke about the rabbi and the goat.

Yeah, I got a friggin' flu shot (FluMist) up my nose yesterday from the school nurse; It was so cool. It was free too. They said we should get them b/c the flu is going around and it's really bad this year and many states are out of the vaccine. It was like snorting the E.T. ride at Universal. :lol:
"Average Joe" totally sucked b/c she ended up picking a hot guy anyway at the end. What a waste of my time, lol. I can't believe I actually watched that show and liked it. :shock: Reality TV is so old, I really hope they stop making shows like that.
Um...nothing else really exciting...I almost kicked T.J.'s @** b/c he's not coming back home w/ us Wednesday and he was my ride. He finally gave in to his girlfriend's demands b/c she really didn't want him to. I used to be that kind of girlfriend, but now I'm more understanding when it comes to things like that. She really has no reason to worry about us girls, anyway...T.J.? BARF! He's like my brother! :D (T.J.: I hope you saw that, lol).

I finally got an e-mail from my boyfriend in Iraq. I haven't heard his voice in, like, 3 weeks and we only get to talk in e-mails. There's also an 8 hour time difference so we're never on at the same time. I won't see him for awhile but we'll get through this. I can't believe I could actually love someone this much, I mean, he's not even here and he's all I can think about. Hopefully, our time apart will quickly pass and, God-willing, he'll come home safe. If you read this, Logan: I love you more than the friggin' moon, baby! :D

Today, Lo, Megs and I just stayed in and did stuff around the room and studied (well, I have yet to do that) for finals.
Yes, it's that fateful week: FINALS!!! The only exam I have that I have to actually study for is Math, which is also my worst subject. Oh well. I also have to give my speech on Tuesday on the secret society of the Skull and Bones at Yale. Cool, huh?
Oh, tomorrow night is the 2-hour finale of "Average Joe"!!! I hate those dating reality shows but I love the twist about this one. Plus, we only get 2 channels here in our dorm b/c we don't wanna pay for cable. So NBC and WB will do for now. :)

| Magical Movie Night With the Girls |

Tonight Lo and Megs and I are watching a bunch of movies we rented for free from the library. We've Already watched [i]Newsies[/i] and [i]Once Upon a Crime[/i] and [i]Notting Hill[/i] is up next. We then must watch [i]Who Framed Roger Rabbit[/i], [i]Renaissance Man[/i], [i]Bowling for Columbine[/i], and finish [i]Labyrinth[/i]. [i]Dogma[/i] and [i]The Sweetest Thing [/i]are ones we have to watch before we go back home for winter break.
It was a unanimous decision to not go to winter formal tonight. T.J. and his girlfriend went for a bit and said it was all girls and no guys there. I don't need guys anyway seeing as I already have one. :D
T.J.'s girlfriend doesn't like us now b/c he is coming back home with us for a few days and she is jealous. We've met her before and we all got along great with her; she should've seen there was nothing to worry about concerning us. Lo and Megs and I are just really good friends w/ T.J., he's like our brother for cryin' out loud!!!

Well...tonight myself, Abby, T.J., my roommates: Laura (Lo) and Megan (Meg) went to J-ville to the mall and had a lovely time. We then went to the world-renown Sonny's BBQ for dinner (mmm...my fave!) and proceeded to go to T.J.'s dad's pimped out pad. We played this fun game called "Catch Phrase" where one team gets a word and the other person has to guess the word with clues from their partner (you get the idea). Anyway, it turned out to be so hilarious because of some of the silly answers we gave. And, luckily, I had enough gumption to write them down to share them with you, my faithful readers. But, you must read the rest of the story before you get to the good stuff! :wink:
So, we finished off the night by wildly dancing around the awesome house to '80s music (the speakers go throughout the house). Then we danced some more and took pics with a digital camera (I'll be posting those on my website as soon and Teej sends 'em to me). Then we danced some more, all the while with no alcohol in our systems (not our style but I've gotta bottle of something special waiting for me back at home :twisted: ). I was then left "Dancing With Myself" (lol) and I danced til I had to stop because of the lack of oxygen to my brain. Then I danced some more of my smooth '80s moves; I'm so good. :D
I miss my Bogie, he is in the big sand pit in that place called THE MIDDLE EAST (guess which country he's been stationed in for 6+ months... :cry: ). He has melted this Ice Queen's frigid heart. For good. :) More on him later to come.

Wow, I am so excited because this is my first [i]real[/i] blog!!! I was so jealous of other people who have these online journal things where they can whine about everything and post stupid crap and write stuff about people (like they're not gonna see it). What a bunch of emo crap! :wink: But I'm not emo, let's get that straight, okay? Anyway, I am gonna post some cool stuff on this about my personal life that most of you probably shouldn't know (like: right now, my roommates and I are all PMS-ing. pretty innapropriate, huh?) :D
